As a welder in the industry for 26 years, safety has been one of my greatest concerns. I have never been satisfied with the tri-pod based welding stands on the market. They are extremely unstable on rough terrain such as pipeline right of way, or oilfield lease locations and very prone to tipping over.

In order to rectify this situation, I have taken the time to build a stand and roller-top of my own patented design. As you will see in the following illustrations both the roller-top and stand have been designed with pivot points which enable the stand and top to maintain a level and stable working platform while fabricating pipe on rough terrain.
